Ebonie Garnett

Birth, Community and Postpartum Doula

Ebonie is originally from the Charleston, SC area. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Psychology Degree in 2015 and has lived in Columbia, SC since. She is married to her husband of 8 years, Jamal Garnett. In her free time she loves to laugh, win games, and go on walks. 

Ebonie has been serving as a doula for over 3 years. She has always been passionate about supporting families and social justice. Ultimately she wants to see Black families be confident, educated and receive quality care. 

Ebonie has training and certificates in childbirth education, breastfeeding basics, community doula, community health worker, birthing pool managing, postpartum doula and newborn care. Most recently she became a certified community health worker and a statewide doula trainer.
